Dr. Thakkar has been a member of the Medical Community in Highlands County since 1979.
Dr. Thakkar and his wife, Dr. Tarlika Thakkar, moved here after he completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology in New Jersey.
Pankaj J. Patel, M.D.
Dr. Patel joined the practice of Dr. Vinod Thakkar in July of 2003.
Dr. Patel received his Fellowship Program in New York, specializing in EUS procedures, combining Endoscopy and Ultrasound.
Martin E. Avalos, M.D.
Dr. Avalos comes highly credentialed and with vast experience in the field of Gastroenterology.
Dr. Avalos trained in New York, where he received his Gastroenterology fellowship.
Francesco Ferretti, M.D., PA
Dr. Ferretti comes highly credentialed and with vast experience in the field of Gastroenterology.
Dr. Ferretti received his Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of Florida, and is Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
